Meanwhile, I am still somewhat stuffed from yesterday's Thanksgiving dinner. I see visions of the big mound of stuffing with sausage sitting in the Michelle's Purex baking pan in the fridge. Visions of stuffing, scalloped potatoes, and turkey dominate my imagination at this moment. I'm stuffed, but also hungry at the same time just thinking about it. What is that all about, anyway?
In other news, I started reading Essential Acker, consisting of selections from author Kathy Acker's literary ouevre. I do see Burroughs-esque descriptions and landscapes in her prose.
Also, I'd like to say that Madonna's Confessions is a piece of shit, albeit an incredibly catchy piece of shit at that. If you were one of those who got bent out of shape over her American Life rap, you've heard nothing yet. Just take in the lyrics to I Love New York and try not to vomit. I dare ya.
Lastly, my favorite cd right now is the remastered edition of Sonic Youth's legendary recording, Goo. Goo is one of the greatest alternative records ever made. Fuck it, it's one of the greatest records of all time. PERIOD.
